Cendol is a famous healthy drink from Southeast Asia
especially in Indonesia. The drink is made of coconut milk, green food
coloring, palm sugar, shaved ice, grass jelly, red beans, glutinous rice and
creamed corn. It is ranked #45 most delicious drinks in the world.
INGREDIENTS to make Cendol
- 150 grams of rice flour
- 70 grams of corn starch
- 85 ml of water leaves suji (optional)
- 3 tablespoons water whiting
- 500 ml water
- Ice water to taste
- ice cubes as needed
ADDITIONAL to make Cendol
- 220 grams of brown sugar
- 150 ml water
- 600 ml coconut milk boiled
- 8 eye jackfruit, cut into small pieces. Can also be replaced with 1 cup of grass jelly, been cut into small dice
HOW to make Cendol
- Stir in rice flour and corn flour with half the water.
- Boil water rest with water whiting, suji leaf water, and salt. Boil until boiling.
- Then pour the solution flour, stirring until thickened. Lift.
- Prepare cendol sieve, put it over the basin which was filled with ice water.
- Pour the hot mixture into the mold and press-press to form elongated grains. Drain.
- Boil sugar with water until dissolved. Lift, then strain and chill.
- Enter the sugar syrup into serving glasses, enter cendol, jackfruit and coconut milk. So cendol more delicious, add ice cubes.
- Serve.
